Math like a Pro was created with a specific goal in mind: to provide Math students and teachers with a framework to interactively explore the world of Mathematics, create effective lessons, and comprehensively monitor progress. Unfortunately, nowadays many Math students believe that Math is just a set of exotic, unrelated rules that they have to follow to solve one problem, and then use a different set of rules to solve another problem. Sometimes students condition themselves to treat a math topic as a chore, and, consequently, they do not attempt to look a bit deeper into it, thus possibly making important connections. Additionally, schools today put a lot of stress on covering a wide range of topics, and, given the demands of state and national standards, have to leave some topics either totally uncovered or covered superficially. As a result, students are left with an incomplete picture, and often are discouraged from further exploring the topic.

Math like a Pro allows teachers to create effective interactive exercises for their students that would allow the students to further explore topics covered at their own pace. Instead of being given simple rote memorization drills, students are expected to figure out the steps to solve each problem, and Math like a Pro will guide them through the process with desired level of support. The framework provides the basic rules of math, while the teacher can formulate effective curricula and exercises.
